Leading screen manufacturer, Stewart Filmscreen, has announced an update to its Balόn Borderless projector screen system. The updated model of the Balόn Borderless is noticeably thinner than previous versions, with a 25mm thickness (or 28mm if back bracing is required). The system’s dimensions are custom built to allow a screen size of up to 12’ high (3.66m) and 16’ wide (4.88m).

The Balόn Borderless aims to create a ‘floating image’ appearance, which is assisted by the beveled frame structure that allows the screen material to wrap around the custom frame – the newest model also promises a simpler mounting experience than previous iterations. New models of the Balόn Borderless also include an LED Light Kit, which allows optional LED backlighting to be installed.
