ClearOne awarded two new patents

ClearOne has announced that it has been awarded a new patent relating to speech technology.

This patent – Method for Adding Realism to Synthetic Speech – among other things, can be used to create ‘speech fonts’ that allows users to have messages read using the voice of anyone who has authorised the use of their voice patterns for synthetic speech.

This new patent is part of ClearOne’s patent portfolio that currently includes over 100 patents and pending patent applications covering multiple technologies in the fields of audio and video processing, audio and video streaming, and innovative communication technologies.
