TechLogix Fibre Extender

TechLogix Networx, distributed by AV Distributors, is expanding its Media over Fibre Optics line with the launch of the TL-FO2-HDC2, a compact extender set which transmits native, uncompressed HDMI and bi-directional control up to 300m over duplex multimode fibre.

“We’re excited to introduce the TL-FO2-HDC2,” says TechLogix CTO Christopher Melendy.

“Integrators are increasingly turning toward fibre for AV signal distribution and until now the electronics have been hard to find or very expensive.”

The extender set supports HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2, HDR, multichannel audio, audio return channel (ARC), bi-directional IR, and bi-directional RS232 signals while signal transmission is completely immune to EM and RF interference, an issue which limits traditional twisted pair products.
