Ring has launched Ring Video Doorbell Elite, a video doorbell solution for homebuilders that allows the user to monitor their home, answer the door and greet guests straight from their phone.

The hardwired doorbell is different as it uses the reliable connection of power over Ethernet. It is equipped with a 1080HD camera, customisable motion zones, a 160° field of view and infrared night vision. These features mean the user can monitor their home from anywhere in the world via the Ring app on their smart phone.

The doorbell also has a built-in microphone and speakers for two-way talk and Live View on-demand video and audio so the user can hear and speak to welcome visitors.

All of this is enclosed in a sleek flush-mount design that fits in standard junction boxes, making it ideal for brand new homes.
