UK-based Lode Audio has announced it will be using CEDIA 2017 to educate the US market’s top-tier custom integrators on the company’s platform and its advantages over mid-market, multi-room audio alternatives.

Lode Audio will be at booth 1708 showcasing a range of products and solutions dedicated to the CI industry that are built on the company’s patented audio over IP protocol LodeNet.

This is a low-latency digital matrix that offers up to 64 zones of groupable audio streams for synchronous playback, without the need for a hardware matrix. Lode Audio products automatically log on to the LodeNet matrix as soon as they are powered up so little setup is required, other than selecting and signing into any of the integrated music streaming providers.

All Lode Audio products offer full integration with leading music streaming services, including Hotel Radio FM, internet radio and SoundCloud for the commercial sector. Where connected, off-line content can be easily navigated, giving easy local music library integration. For residential applications, full TIDAL integration is available, as well as Deezer and Napster.

The Lode Audio music server range has been developed over a four-year period and consists of the four-zone LA4 and single-zone LA1. They offer total integration with third-party automation platforms, including the latest Crestron Media Player driver, Control 4 driver update and Command Fusion integration driver. These offer extended features, including dynamic browse and queue functions, as well as cover-art integration.

Lode Audio has also spent time developing the audio circuitry of its products, which feature DAC’s capable of high-resolution music file playback and medical-grade power supplies.

To enhance reliability and reduce physical and electrical noise, all Lode Audio products have fan-less designs. They are built in the UK to medical-grade specifications and feature chassis honed from single billets of aluminium for perfect heat distribution.
