Providing accurate quotes can take hours or if very complex it can even take days.

Project Q is a software tool that gives the user the ability to create accurate quotations, instantly.

Now, Entertaining Environments has been appointed as the exclusive Australian distributor of the software.

Project Q quoting software allows the user to quickly and accurately capture the requirements of the client at the first meeting. The Needs Analysis function in Project Q has been designed specifically to help the user capture the important information room by room. Project Q will then calculate in real time the cost of the proposed system as you complete the Needs Analysis. An accurate Cost Summary and quotation that reconciles to the client’s needs analysis is also generated.

“Project Q provides the user with the tools and information to quickly deal with amendments and make informed decisions,” Tony says.

“In the past, when a customer made a change it involved a lot of extra work and time to amend the proposal. Project Q’s intuitive Room Report provides the client with an easy to understand analysis of the needs captured. This intuitive report then shows the client what they will be able to watch, listen to and control in each room of their home and if you haven’t captured their needs correctly simply adjust the Needs Analysis and re-send the Room Report. Project Q was designed to increase efficiencies and sales by decreasing time and costs, co-founder Matt Dodd says.

“Project Q is really making contractors think about the amount of ‘free’ time they are spending generating quotes for customers,” he says.

With the press of a button integrators can also reveal the gross profit margin analysis for each quote. The app then provides a report which illustrates the gross profit margin and labour cost percentages across each category as well as total values.

Project Q costs $200 a month and has a 14–day trial period.
