CEDIA (the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association) has unveiled the panel of experts sitting in judgement on finalists for the tenth CEDIA Awards, the industry scheme which celebrates excellence in the residential custom installation sector across Europe, Russia and the CIS, the Middle East, Africa, India and Pakistan.

This year, the judging panel includes a mixture of experienced CEDIA Award judges, as well as some new additions. Presided over by CEDIA Chair, Kris Hogg of CEDIA member company, Konnectiv, the newcomers include leading interior designer and past president of the British Institute of Interior Design Dean Keyworth; David Myres, Associate Director at award-winning architecture firm, ADAM Architecture and Maria Ingold, CEO of global tech consultancy, Mireality. Returning to the panel this year, is Simon Lucas, Editor of What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision Magazine, Michael Holmes, Editor-in-Chief of Homebuilding & Renovating magazine and AV technology guru, Steve May, the former editor of Home Cinema Choice.

“We have assembled an experienced and well informed judging panel from the worlds of architecture, interior design, property development and technology for the final judging round of our tenth CEDIA Awards,” says executive director at CEDIA EMEA Wendy Griffiths. “Once again, we have received a great response from entrants to this year’s CEDIA Awards from countries across the EMEA region. We’re looking forward to revealing all the winners and highly commended projects at our special Gala Dinner taking place in the spectacular setting of the Natural History Museum on Friday 3rdJuly.”
