The all-new Omni Sub8, Sub10 and Sub12 boast a more refined look than their predecessors.  Additional enhancements include the incorporation of Class D amplification and a significant easier setup process for dealers.

Triad Speakers, Inc., a leading custom manufacturer of reference quality loudspeakers for the home, has gone back to the drawing board on its  InRoom OmniSub line, making considerable cosmetic and performance enhancements.

The InRoom OmniSub Series consists of the 200-watt Sub8, 300-watt Sub10 and 500-watt Sub12.  Each can be used for both 2-channel and home theater applications and mated with any of Triad’s vast assortment of InRoom, InCeiling, InWall and OnWall loudspeakers.

“For a cleaner, more simplified look — in an age where ‘less is more’ — we’ve relocated the controls from atop the cabinet to behind the grille.  While now completely concealed, the controls are fully accessible, even when installed in a furniture cabinet,” says Triad Speakers, Inc. Marketing Director Paul Teixeira.

Triad is now using Class D amplification in the OmniSubs. “Class D amps retain the sound quality of traditional, hotter-running Class AB amps, yet operate more efficiently and cooler, making them extremely reliable,” furthers Teixeira.

Triad also upgraded to a long-throw excursion carbon fiber cone driver which yields deep accurate bass with less distortion.  Finally, to save installers setup time, Triad eliminated some of the lesser used settings.

The MSRP for the new OmniSubs are the very same as the previous models.  Given we’ve incorporated premium amplification and drivers, the new models represent a tremendous value,” says Teixeira.

The Omni Subs are shipping now. Each carries a 3-years parts and labour warranty.
