Yamaha’s free DTA Controller app for iOS and Android devices also delivers a host of sophisticated features which broaden its functionality beyond that of wireless music streaming and lighting control. An intuitive smart timer offers multi-day programming including sleep mode for both music playback and lighting.

Delving deeper, the app interface presents the opportunity to make user-friendly adjustments to its audio settings – calibration being largely dependent on the positioning of the LSX-700 in relation to nearby walls.

Described by its designer Masaharu Ohno, the LSX-700 symbolises “light as the visualisation of sound”.

The LSX-700 lighting/audio system is available now in a choice of night black or chocolate brown leather textured finishes.
