Audio Visual Revolution to distribute QED

Founded by Bob Abraham and Ian Vine in 1973; QED has acquired knowledge and experience of hi-fi and home cinema cables and connectivity.

As far back as 1994 QED conducted the most extensive ever scientific research into the effects of speaker cables on a hi-fi system performance. The results were astonishing, and can be found on the QED website under the heading ‘The Genesis Report’ (http://www.qed.co.uk/qed-academy.htm ). The report produced clear, quantifiable and most importantly scientific evidence that speaker cables do matter. Based on this exacting scientific research and the use of the most advanced testing equipment available today, QED’s research continues to be used and further expanded upon.

With an easy to navigate product range; Profile – Good, Performance – Better, Reference – Best, Signature – Concept Category, instead of hundreds of SKU’s and a complex range of categories, QED is the brand to fulfil every audio and visual need. From entry level to high-end. From consumer use to professional installations.

Although QED in recent years has been best recognised as a leader in the cable category, it is more a connectivity company. QED claims industry firsts; from a high quality speaker cable (Classic 79), to the world’s first budget DAC (the DIGIT), to the world’s first infrared controllable multi room system (Systemline) and so on.
