The latest version of the Leviton IP Camera features full HD recording at 1080p at up to 30 frames per second. The camera’s built-in web server, even as a stand-alone device, allows users to view live and recorded video from a PC and have video frames sent by email or uploaded to an FTP site when motion is detected in an area. Video can also be recorded to a Micro SD card or a PC.

The high-resolution Leviton camera offers many advanced features including the capability to simultaneously dual stream H.264 and MJPEG video. For enhanced viewing capabilities, the camera automatically switches to black and white at night. The camera is suitable for outdoor use and rated IP66, featuring weatherproof housing and an operational temperature between 14 degrees Fahrenheit (F) and 122 degrees F. With Power over Ethernet, the camera can be placed nearly anywhere. There is no need for power supplies or power outlets as a single Cat 5 cable handles both power and communication.

The part number for the new Leviton Indoor/Outdoor Mini Dome IP Camera remains the same, number 68A11-1, and is now available in all markets.
