Panasonic 4K Ultra HD TV delivers second generation connectivity
In a market first, Panasonic’s new 65-inch Ultra HD TV leads the way in future proof connectivity with 4K 50p/60p input, based on HDMI 2.0 and Display Port 1.2ai specifications. Even 4K 50p/60p native sources can be input with a single cable. This new model will support the native 4K output devices and 4K video cameras that will be on the market in the near future.
The TH-L65WT600A LED LCD delivers four times the resolution of current full HDTVs and produces brighter, clearer and highly realistic images for a truly immersive viewing experience.
The 4K Fine Remaster Engine, a database type ultra high-resolution engine created with unique Panasonic technology, renders various types of content – from TV broadcasts to web videos – into highly detailed, high-definition 4K Ultra HD TV images.

The detail offered by Ultra HD TV offers more comfortable viewing when seated closer to the panel, allowing more users to enjoy viewing larger screens in their living room. As more 4K Ultra HD TV content becomes available, customers will be poised to take advantage of the amazing clarity and lifelike ambience the TH-L65WT600A delivers.
The TH-L65WT600A also has built in smart features for enhanced ease of use. ‘My Home Screen’ provides instant access to users’ favourite content on a personalised TV screen. Voice interaction functionality allows the user to operate the TV simply by talking to it (via the Touch Pad Controller or their smartphoneii). Users can also link a smartphone or tablet device to the TV so content can be shared freely. For example, using the ‘Swipe & Share’iii function, still images with 4K Ultra HD TV resolution could be viewed on the large screen.
The TH-L65WT600A VIERA 4K Ultra HD TV will be available in Australia in late October. Pricing will be announced closer to the launch date.
