Philips Dynalite Antumbra user-interface panel
The state-of-the-art Antumbra panel can be custom configured to have many different button combinations and perform a vast range of functions, from simple local lighting control to driving site-wide networked devices such as blinds and HVAC systems.
“In developing Antumbra, we removed all pre-conceptions about what a user interface should be, to design a panel that surpasses modern requirements and expectations in both form and functionality,” says Philips Dynalite global product manager Daniel Walker.
“The result is a truly unique and aesthetically pleasing user interface able to control a wide range of networked devices and all at a very competitive price point.”

The contemporary design of the Antumbra panel incorporates multiple hidden sensory inputs to automatically control the local environment.
Utilising the latest in field effect technology, when a user approaches the device, the panel will light up resulting in a wall wash effect, welcoming the user to interact with the device. When the user moves away all the wall wash effect and indicating lighting will fade away, allowing the panel to merge into the wall architecture. A built-in temperature sensor also automatically measures the local area and adjusts the air conditioning when integrated into the network system.
Antumbra is available in a range of button and rim finishes including white, silver, magnesium and chrome, which can be combined to suit any room’s décor and design.
An additional two user-interface panels incorporating a touch-sensitive screen and a graphical display will be added to the Antumbra range later in 2013.
Antumbra is available from accredited Philips Dynalite resellers only.
