“LaunchPort has really taken off since its release at CEDIA Expo last year,” said Ari Supran, CEO of Dana Innovations, parent company of Sonance, iPort and TRUFIG.  “More and more Custom Installers are utilizing iOS Apps in their projects as an interface for lighting control, home automation and content streaming. LaunchPort provides a convenient and user-friendly way for their clients to hold, charge and protect their iPads.”

And it’s not only in residential applications. With so many commercial markets using the iPad these days, including retail, education, medical, corporate, hospitality and restaurants, LaunchPort not only provides a convenient charging and mounting solution; the optional ability to attach a security tether ensures the iPad stays where it was intended.

The AP.3 Sleeve contours to fit both The new iPad (3rd Generation) and iPad 2, making it perfect for those who have upgraded to The new iPad and want to use their iPad 2 as a dedicated unit for around the home.

The AP.3 Sleeve is compatible with the existing LaunchPort WallStation and BaseStation and is Apple MFi (Made for iPad) certified.   The LaunchPort inductive charging system starts working as soon as the Sleeve is docked onto either the WallStation or BaseStation

The AP.3 Sleeve attaches to the BaseStations and WallStations using extremely strong neodymium magnets, which provide a very secure mounting solution and allow the iPad to rotate through a full 360 degrees into landscape or portrait mode. Because these magnets are located in the Sleeve, it can also be mounted to nearly any metallic surface, allowing users to utilize their iPad in more places than ever before.

LaunchPort AP.3 Sleeve is available in a gloss white or soft touch black finish.

The Sleeve, BaseStation and WallStation are all sold separately. The LaunchPort system requires a Sleeve and Station to mount and charge the iPad.
