The Mini FSV is a reverse cycle VRF system specifically designed for the most demanding applications where precise cooling or heating load control is needed, such as offices, shops and multi-storey apartments, and is available now through a specialist dealer network.

The Mini FSV system enables a single outdoor unit to power up to nine indoor units. The indoor units can be a mix of wall mounted, cassette, mini cassette and mid and low static pressure ducted units.

With leading energy efficiency, the Mini FSV offers users a range of benefits including a wide variety of control options to meet the requirements of different applications. These include group control, web control and building management system integration.

Other advantages include flexible indoor unit selection to suit every room, independent operation of all connected indoor units, less complex installation and piping and improved building aesthetics due to less outdoor units required as well as being demand response ready to deliver optimum performance at a lower rate of power consumption.

Panasonic Australia product marketing manager, air-conditioning Shane Quinn says, “This new Mini FSV Air-Conditioner system further confirms Panasonic’s commitment to the Australian air-conditioning market. This product offers multiple control options for a variety of installations. With these expanded control options it is possible to precisely cool or heat where it is needed in a building,” says Mr Quinn.

With the Panasonic Mini FSV, each indoor unit directly communicates its load requirements to a single outdoor unit which manages the load. This reduces the risk of a cooling capacity shortage when compared to a conventional system.

The unit takes advantage of Panasonic Inverter Technology, used in all of the company’s air-conditioning products, which significantly reduces energy consumption .

Additionally, the Mini FSV allows flexibility with piping design, allowing a height difference of up to 50m between outdoor and indoor units, and allows a maximum piping length of 150m.

Up to 45 different indoor unit models are available and up to nine indoor units can be connected to a single outdoor unit. This allows for a suitable architectural and consumption match for each user.
