Slimline HDMI cables

Peerless-AV’s Slimline High-Speed HDMI Cables v1.4 certified with Ethernet offer streamlined connections for integration with cable storage boxes. Available in both 90 and 270 degree versions for rear and side-mounted connections respectively, the cables feature 24k gold-plated contacts, allowing high-speed transfers with negligible signal distortion or loss. The cables are a 3mm cable that provides the same functionality as the much thicker 8mm round HDMI cable.

Recessed cable management and storage boxes

The company will also demonstrate its line of recessed cable management and storage boxes, which simplifies bothcable management, by enabling the routing of low voltage cables through the walls, and the management of flat panel cables within the recessed box itself. The boxes are available in large and medium sizes that feature easy installation and fit between standard 16” wood studs. Positioned either vertically or horizontally, the boxes suit any home entertainment setup. Both boxes are also available as a separate version that features an integrated 15amp/125 volt surge-protected duplex power source.

The Easy Mount Recessed Low Voltage Cable Plate allows an in-wall installation of low voltage cables behind the flat panel display or other AV devices. It features innovative “mounting wings” which provide tight fastening to the drywall, eliminating the need for a separate mounting bracket and simplifying the installation process. The low profile design easily fits behind ultra thin flat panel displays and provides a clean and simple management solution.

Low voltage cables can also be routed through the wall using Peerless-AV’s Recessed Low Voltage Media Plate with Duplex Surge Suppressor, which blocks voltage spikes to protect valuable AV equipment. Offering the same easy installation as the Low Voltage Cable Plate, the product combines the convenience of a duplex receptacle with a recessed plate. The Recessed Low Voltage Media Plate offers the best of both worlds by combining the ability to power your components and the ability to run low voltage cables through the wall with a single, stylish recessed wall plate. If compromised, an innovative SurgeBloc feature alerts the consumer with an audible signal to a failure of the surge protection. After a surge has occurred, a new SurgeBloc module can be easily replaced to restore complete surge protection.
