Encompassing a range of best-in-class desktop speakers, speaker solutions for iPod, iPad and other IOS devices and portable audio speakers, the Harman multimedia range will complement Convoy’s existing range of Harman Kardon and JBL audio products for the home, the car and digital music sources.

“We are delighted to extend our partnership with Harman International, having already enjoyed a long and successful relationship with the company as the Australian distributor for the Harman Kardon Home and JBL Home and Car speaker ranges,” says Convoy International chief executive Geoff Matthews.

Convoy International is well established within the consumer electronic, audio and multimedia categories thanks to its strong audio heritage.

Having built a brand portfolio that has gathered credibility and respect from consumers and business partners alike, Convoy International is poised to deliver the same exceptional service and results with Harman International’s Multimedia product ranges.

The JBL and Harman Kardon multimedia products will complement Convoy’s range of multimedia speakers, which includes the Bowers & Wilkins’ Zeppelin iPod speakers and the Monster and Beats by Dr. Dre headphone ranges.

Geoff has stated that the new multimedia ranges will strengthen Convoy’s business and provide new opportunities for Convoy’s reseller partners.

“The audio industry underwent a seismic shift with the advent of the iPod, and increasingly our brands are developing products which specifically address the needs of digitally stored music,” Geoff says.

“By expanding our product range and offering new speaker solutions to our reseller network, we hope to enrich the opportunities for our business partners and further develop our expertise in this growing category, “ he says.

Complete details of Convoy’s extended product range, including recommended retail pricing, will be available shortly on Convoy’s website, www.ehifi.com.au.
