Extron has introduced its TLP Pro 525T 5″ tabletop TouchLink Pro touch panel, the first 5” tabletop model that includes a new, high-performance quad-core processor and eight times more memory.

Featuring a high resolution, 800×480 capacitive touch screen built with scratch and smudge-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass and a distinctive enclosure, the TLP Pro 525T also has the convenience of PoE which allows it to receive power and communication over a single Ethernet cable.

Extron vice president of sales and marketing Casey Hall says it was important for the first 5” tabletop touch panel to follow the distinctive design of its larger family members.

“As with all of our latest touch panels, we built it with super tough Gorilla Glass. Inside you’ll find enhanced processing power and memory; as well as the convenience of PoE, which helps streamline integration,” he says.

All TouchLink Pro touch panels can be customised using Extron GUI Designer software. The software offers ready-to-use templates for a wide variety of rooms and presentation environments. These designs may be used as is, or customised for the application by simply changing individual graphic elements.
