New Zealand amplifier manufacturer Perreaux has signed a new exclusive Australian distribution deal with two Aussies, Mark Gusew and Allen Nuendorf.

The pair will be running their distribution services out of Burwood Music Centre Wholesale (BMCW) in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.

Perreaux believes the change will increase its brand presence in Australia and will make its products more accessible to Aussie integrators.

BMCW is living up to this by making Perreaux systems available to try at any time at the distributor’s listening rooms.

Integrators are welcome to visit the facility which has three listening rooms, the most notable being the ‘Maven Room’. The room seats 32 in a theatre with state-of-the-art stereo systems and multi-channel systems for visitors.

“After listening to and reviewing many respected audio products, I decided to put my own money into a Perreaux DP32 DAC/preamp. It just sounded so good and was great value for money,” Mark says.

“Little did I know at the time, that events would transpire and we would shortly afterwards be appointed the Australian distributor for Perreaux.

“I am delighted to be associated with Perreaux and am confident that we can bring true musical enjoyment to more Australians.”

Allen says he has fond memories of using Perreaux amplifiers in many concert sound systems during his time as a front of house mixing engineer.

“I’m excited to be associated with the brand again, albeit in a totally different way. It’s quite a testimony for a company that in a world of mass produced products, the quality of build and sound of Perreaux today is equally as good as the Perreaux I knew many years ago.”

Perreaux has a range which includes integrated amplifiers, pre/power amplifiers, loudspeakers, interconnects and cables.
